Tough night leads to just a few on the podium during the trip to Humboldt over the weekend.

The Midgets were set to face five other teams to include the hosting Humboldt Wildcats, the E-Hawks of Emmetsburg, Southeast Valley (Gowrie), and Webster City.
The group of Mighty Midgets fell into many hard fought losses, but did place two on the podium and earned a 4th place finish as well.

Earning the Midgets only 2nd place victory, and final podium spot on the day, was 160-pounder Garrett Paulson who defeated Colton Anderson of Emmetsburg by way of pin fall. In the 1st place bout, Humbolt’s Levi Naeve was able to get the best of Paulson after a hard fought match that ended by a 7-4 decision. Paulson, a junior, is enjoying a 22-12 overall record.
