Titan Basketball Hosts Conference Games

The Titan girls basketball team will be facing off against the Harris-Lake Park Wolves on Monday January 20, the previous game was postponed. The Wolves have yet to win a game this year as they come to the TItan’s home court trying to notch their first victory.

The Titan girls are led by Senior Madison Hough, who has been averaging 21 points per game and three assists. Defensively the Titans are averaging ten steals per game and allow around 50 points per game from opposing teams. The match-up with the Wolves may be one they have to stay focused during as the Wolves have only averaged around 18 points per game and struggle greatly on the defensive end. The Titan girls are 3-10 on the season and looking to finish the year strong.

The Titan boys will be hosting the Alta-Aurelia Wildcats on January 21; a team they lost 76-39 to on January 15. They will be looking to take the victory this time as the Wildcats are on a two-game winning streak that the Titans hope to end.

The TItan boys are led by Freshman Max Hough who is averaging close to 13 points per game with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The Titans have split their last two games and are still looking to get their first conference win of the season. The TItans are 4-8 on the season heading into this match-up.

The girl’s basketball game on January 20 has a start time of 6:00PM in Terril and the boy’s game on January 21 starts at 7:30PM in Ruthven.
